Summer is here and I am finding joy in having said NO to Summer School. After 15 months sitting alongside Marky, in front of a computer, for all of his classes – we both NEEDED this break. There was nothing that 4 weeks of Summer School could offer that he would benefit from. The lack of a schedule and ability to have no school schedule is exactly what we both needed. I know we are not alone in what we had to do, or what we chose to do, BUT, I also know that our lives were significantly impacted and it will take some time to get back to our new normal.
