We want to kick-off this week by reminding you to register for this week’s Lunch and Learn “Fun in the Sun: Ways to Incorporate Sensory and Movement in Outdoor Environments”.
Sensory processing is an important component to improving the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.This session will discuss how sensory processing impacts individuals with ASD in their day to day lives and address strategies that can assist in providing ways to reduce stress, regulate mood, increase and improve engagement in everyday activities. Presenters will share ideas to increase engagement in summer activities to address various sensory processing needs to have fun in the sun!
