Happy Birthday Marky
Happy Birthday To You Marky
Today Marky is 14. I have so many mixed feelings. It is the first year I am not having a birthday party for him. I realized that the parties I plan, really are not things he asks for. I also realized it is rare that he is invited to parties and he would be as happy doing something with us. Actually, he would be happy with anything or nothing.
The question for me becomes, what is “right”? I have no real answer, so decided to just try something different. It is a blessing and a curse that he is so flexible. I will be sharing more on these feelings as I am able to articulate them.
