Join 400 parents, educators and other professionals representing 40+ school districts from throughout Virginia joined together for a day of learning, networking and inspirations. The keynote speaker Dr. Paula Kluth will answer “Don’t We Already Do Inclusion” and then provide three breakout sessions. Kayla McKeon, our lunch speaker, will inspire the audience with her story of being a lobbyist in Washington DC and one again the Transition Conference for parents and educators of transition age students will be back.
30+ exhibitors will provide resources and services including PEATC who will provide individual IEP consultations to parents. Self-advocates may introduce speakers as session hosts and greet the attendees. Volunteers are needed to keep the conference running smoothly. We will once again honor educators with the Outstanding Educator Awards at lunch. We always appreciate the sponsors that allow us to offer this conference at a low-cost to all attendees!
