Month 3 already in the new year! March means Spring is coming, although our Winter wasn’t terrible, I am looking forward to flowers and more sunshine.
Did you set goals for yourself? Are you reaching them? I think it is a good time to evaluate, check in with ourselves and see where we are at. I have kept my promise to allow the time to exercise. It is making a big difference. My energy is better and I am also feeling stronger mentally & physically. I have fallen short on staying in touch with family & friends and making some girl time, so I want to make that happen. The beauty of goals is that every day is a new chance to make it happen. No need to be negative and feel defeated, deep breath and move forward.
We are excited to be partnering more closely with Jacob’s Chance, Jacob’s Chance has so many incredible programs for our kids. Sports, dances, wellness and more. We will be featuring info and events here. Our calendar which is up and running again, has lots of events added.
On the home front, we have had a full plate, actually an overloaded & messy plate. Transitioning our son for High School has taken lots of time and some very tiring energy. I believe it will all be good, but the process is taking my brain and squashing it. In addition there are my 2 other kids who also have needs. I have felt very exhausted this past month and I have had lots of reflection time. I am thinking about life and all that lies ahead. I cannot lie, it is scary, I tend to want to run from it. I am taking small steps to try to address my fears. Maybe I am growing up!? Hmmm…
We have created a team to run/ walk in the Autism Society 5k! Want to join? It is a super fun day and I am so proud of our community! Here’s the link for info.
