A few ideas for books this Thanksgiving season:
The Night Before Thanksgiving, by Natasha Wing This one os a spin-off of Clement C. Moore’s Christmas poem. It is a catchy and simple rhyming book that shares a story of a family’s Thanksgiving.—from the exciting night, before to the peaceful morning at home, to the hectic holiday kitchen scene, to the warm and fuzzy dinner table
Thanksgiving Is for Giving Thanks! by Margaret Sutherland (Author), Sonja Lamut (Author) Thanksgiving is most importantly a holiday all about everything that we are thankful for, this book is a sweet and happy colorful illustration with simple text in this celebration of family, friends, and the holiday that brings them all together.
The Thankful Book, by Todd Parr ( One of MY favorite authors) I think this is one that all ages can enjoy, maybe even read together at the table. His pictures are always full of life and color and make me smile. In this book, Todd Parr celebrates all the little things children can give thanks for. From everyday activities like reading and bathtime to big family meals together and special alone time between parent and child, Todd inspires readers to remember all of life’s special moments.
