This is our guy’s “Senior Year”, having had 2 children go through the typical path of high school, I know what graduation is supposed to look like. I know how exciting it is, or is supposed to be. This is not the same and I really don’t “know how to do it all”.
He will continue on in school as he is able to through age 21 and our hope is that he will gain skills to become more independent and find something he can feel successful at. But, more on that later.
This is to share a little “happy news.”
A few weeks ago, a friend texted me and asked if I was going to do Senior Pics for Marky, to which I replied immediately, “NO”. She asked why not and I did not have a reason. I thought about it and became anxious thinking what photographer would have the patience, would Marky even want to, how could it all work, etc. Then, I took a breath, and asked Marky. I said , would you like to take pictures like your sisters did when they were seniors? He said “YES”. No hesitation and even smiled.
My friend shared her photographer with me, I made a call and it felt like a match, so we booked it.
30 minutes – one spot – no change of clothes ( having girls, this was a thing!) and it was perfect!
He loved it, he smiled, he “felt like a model” , the photographer was easy and laid back and we were able to experience something for him, that I had no expectation of being able to.
I am so glad my friend asked me, so glad I asked our guy and so glad we found Beth Bales.
I am including Beth’s info here, in case you want to give it a try. Beth is not an advertiser on this page nor am I receiving anything in sharing this info. Well, I am receiving a big, warm smile in my heart!
