Special Need Apps

March 2, 2015 By Carissa Garabedian

Three new apps to share for March.

First, we highlight this month is Wellapets, a Free app that helps to teach and empower kids with asthma. Kids will get a pet that has asthma and learn to take care of it. Learning important steps in asthma care while having fun.  Ios & Android .

Next, Speech with Milo,  this app has over fifteen apps to choose from. Speech with Milo has helped children all over the world build language skills. All are created by Poorani Doonan, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. These apps are very interactive allowing your  child to working with a parent or therapist while having fun.  There is a lot of  animation and creativity . The prices vary based on which you are interested in.

Last for this month, Choiceworks. Choiceworks is a really neat learning tool that helps complete daily routines. I think all of us can benefit from this. You can create lists for  morning & night. It works on taking turns and not interrupting.  It can be customized for teachers  as well as used at home.
