Our children change us. They have eyes that never tire of seeing, ears that never tire of hearing, and questions that grasp the attention of any engaged adult. They force us to see things we always looked past. Their simple questions challenge our basic assumptions and force us to view things differently. Their inquisitiveness and growth have an innate value that brings joy to those who work and play with them. That joy fueled the beginning of ABC Behavior in 2014, and continues fueling us as we meet each new child.
ABC Behavior’s mission is to improve the quality of life of local clients and their families through compassion and the use of research-based and data-driven treatments. ABC Behavior uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help those children with special needs express their inquisitiveness and grow through developmental hurdles. And we take data on it so we can point to and enjoy their victories with them. When the children master new skills, we’re there celebrating with them. And because we work with the children and their families in-home, the parents get to celebrate the successes, as well. We want to do it together.
ABC Behavior locations are locally owned and operated offices. The headquarters is in Warrenton, Virginia but there are offices around Virginia. The local Behavior Analysts serve their neighbors and local community. Those are the people they are passionate to serve. Those are the people they engage with day to day that make the neighborhood stronger. Our offices in Richmond and Ashland are owned and operated by Behavior Analysts who love the Richmond Metro. They have a limited number of openings for children, but are accepting new families right now for ABA services. Please reach out to their locations on our website: www.abcbehavior.org/locations.
