Can you believe it is July! This picture was taken as we celebrated the end of Middle School at Busch Gardens. He saw some peers taking pics in groups, we weren’t in one, and he said to me, “let’s take a picture mom”. My heart kind of melted. I will hold that forever. Such a simple moment, that so many typical parents would think nothing of, a milestone for me.
Summer School has started for our son at the unsightly hour of 7:30 AM! WHATTTTT! Needless to say, he has not made it on time yet, that is a struggle! I hope your Summer start has been a good one!
As you receive this, we will be back home in Long Island. It is our annual trip to visit family. This year we will celebrate an 80th birthday on my husband’s side of the family as well as a planned reunion with my side – it is sure to be a memory making weekend! Fingers crossed for a smooth scheduled email blast for you all and that all of the change coming our way in the routine this coming week, is adapted with as little pain as possible.
I have set Facebook posts for the week and Tricia is working hard behind the scenes. I am really going to try to detach from electronic devices. I need to practice what I preach and make these moments last. This past week, our soon to be Senior had her first College acceptance, talk about needing to slow down time.
Our calendar is full of ideas and continuing to grow.
