Spot On Therapy Group remains committed to clients amidst changing times. When COVID19 required temporary suspension of face to face therapy services, Spot On Therapy Group swiftly transitioned to telehealth services, maintaining our clients’ continuity of care. Our therapists embraced this change with determination and creativity, working hard to provide the same quality of service, even though it is not in-person.
Telehealth has given us many advantages when working with our clients, including a platform to observe and address issues specific to the home/family, opportunity to utilize more intensive parent coaching, and ability to provide some normalcy and routine during this time of social distancing. We credit much of our success to the relationship between the therapists and their clients and client families. Whether it is creating social stories to help the child understand “the virus”, establishing a picture schedule and sensory diet to manage the new routine, supporting cooperation between siblings, or using the family pet to initiate more verbal communication, our therapists are responding to changes in client/family needs and priorities.
While no one would have chosen this pandemic, Spot On has responded to the challenge and grown stronger because of it. We are here to help you and/or your child, both now and in the future.
