New Virtual Programming
The Science Museum of Virginia (SMOV) might be closed, but that doesn’t mean creative collaborations have to stop! Over the next five weeks, we will be partnering with the SMOV to bring ASCV members a weekly series of live digital STEM activities. There will be opportunities to explore anatomy, chemistry and physics through science demonstrations as well as chances to investigate scientific phenomena while working collaboratively to imagine, plan, create, and test solutions with engineering challenges. We will kick things off on Wednesday, April 15th with “Amazing Animals” for grades K-6. This exciting program will give attendees an up close encounter with snakes and cockroaches, and learn about what different animals need to survive in their environments. ASCV Members have been sent an Eventbrite invitation via email. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming programs!
