Dear December 2020,
We have had a rough few months and hope you bring in a better arrival
We hope to spend time with our family & to stay healthy
We wish things were a little easier for all of us
We want to enjoy each day and make the most of the season
Dear December,
We are going to try to find gratitude in every day
Let’s remember, our days may not be perfect, but there is always beauty in a better tomorrow
Let’s embrace our “KNOWDifferent” and keep our hearts full.
Dear December, let’s do all we can for a great start to 2021
Dear December,We are thankful all of the love of our family & friends.
Fondly,
Your KNOWDifferent Family
December tends to be a very stressful time of year, adding a pandemic to this, certainly is more exhausting. I am trying to find ways to make this all ok. We are breaking so many traditions and so many people we would like to be with, may need to wait a little longer. How do we all find the ways to stay in the moment and enjoy the simple things? My hope is that we all can.
I thought maybe having a “talk” with December, grabbing a little perspective, holding a little hope and diving into some memory making moments may help us all.
We have these ideas so far :
- set zoom times with friends and family
- gathering outside for a quick hello with local loved ones
- sending texts and pictures with loved ones sharing a memory
- set times to call older loved ones to let them hear your voice
- keep the shopping to a minimum – we are doing the “want, need, wear and read”
- random acts of simple kindness – and include yourself on the list
Anything else working for you ? Please share.
