March is here, month 3 of the new year! March means Spring is coming, which I am now embracing. I am looking forward to flowers . longer days and more warm weather. It is also the birthday month for my hubby, the guy who really is my rock! I am figuring out my plan to surprise him with something special!
Did you set goals for yourself, or choose a word for yourself? How are you doing with reaching them? I think it is a good time to evaluate, check in with ourselves and see where we are at. I am doing pretty good with living along my word of the year and my goal to allow some time for me to exercise is ok- I can improve that one, and I will. The beauty of goals is that every day is a new chance to make it happen. No need to be negative and feel defeated, deep breath and move forward.
Next week is our IEP meeting, I never really like these meetings and always have an overload of emotions. I believe it will all be good, but the process is just so intimidating. As our son gets older, I become a little more frightened of the unknown. Thinking about life and all that lies ahead is scary, I tend to want to run from it yet am taking the steps to embrace it all, one day at a time. Small steps.

Our guy just finished playing basketball at school on the All-Star Team. He did not love it as much this year, but he got out there and did it! I am so thankful for this, he loves the activity and it is so great to see him included. I wish we had more at the school level for our kids to share in.
If you are interested in taking part in a National Day of Being Unplugged- check this out. I love this idea and am glad to see it back.
