I’ve been getting some great messages and emails asking for more book recommendations. I am so glad some of you are finding them helpful. It really has been my escape these past few months, I love having a challenge set for myself and I spend lots of time making lots of books I want to read! Please share yours too.
I will still offer a few books related to special needs as well but am adding at least 3 a month of books I think would be a fun escape. I have fallen in love with my kindle, reading at night when my husband falls asleep reading in the car waiting at appointments has been AWESOME!
This month’s Special Needs Ideas are :
1.Thriving with ADHD Workbook for Kids: 60 Fun Activities to Help Children Self-Regulate– I thought it may be a neat idea to try some interactive books that allow for some activities.
This months fun or escape reading as I call it, are:
I have not read a lot of Jodi Picoult books, but this one stayed with me long after I finished.
This was a Jenna Bush Hager book club suggestion and it was sweet, charming and so enjoyable. Thanks to Tricia for sharing it with me!
I am reading this one now, the female main character isintersting, I almost think she could be on the spectrum, but am not far enough into it to know. I do think I will cry for this one. Will report back next month.
