How Can You Help Children In Foster Care?
Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone can help children in foster care.
Here are just a few ways you can help local children in care:
1.Host an Information Session
Host a FREE, one hour, no obligation information session for those interested in learning more about becoming a foster or adoptive parent. We are looking for offices, churches, community organizations and anyone else willing to share information about the foster parent certification process.
2.Refer a Friend
Do you have a friend, colleague or family member that you believe would provide a child with a loving and stable home? Share their contact information with us and we’ll reach out immediately!
3.Make a Donation
Embrace loves donations! We are always open to receiving personal hygiene products, travel bags/suitcases, games and clothing for all ages.
4. Sponsor a new placement
We often receive emergency placements where children come into care with nothing. We are
looking for support when purchasing supplies for emergency placements.
5. Meals for foster parents
Dinner is served to our families who have made a commitment to become foster parents, typically
10-20 people. You can even assist with graduation festivities- this is a celebration to those who
have successfully completed the required training to become a foster parent.
