The Arc of Hanover’s 1st Annual One Mile Santa Fun Run and Walk
Be a Claus for a Cause at the The Arc of Hanover’s 1st Annual One Mile Santa Fun Run and Walk, taking place Saturday December 7th in front of Bass Pro Shops Ashland. Proceeds from the event go directly to The Arc of Hanover to provide services and programs to people in our community with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc of Hanover is the leading advocacy, service and awareness organization for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hanover County. We provide direct services to Hanover County residents and assist many in the neighboring localities with information and referral. The Arc of Hanover advocates for the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community living. We educate elected officials and the public about the needs of children and adults with disabilities. The Arc of Hanover is managed by a volunteer board of directors. The Arc of Hanover receives no governmental funding and is dependent on donors, fund raising events and private grants.
