RIVER CITY BUDDY BALL- ATHLETICS
We are super excited to announce 4 weeks of Soccer Camp
AGES 10-30 YRS OLD
Sundays,: October 25, November 1, 8, 15
$20 for 4 weeksTime Slot 1: 2:00 pm- 2:45 pm. Ages 10-18 yrs
Time Slot 2: 3:00- pm- 3:45 pm. Ages 19- 30 yrs
How soccer with a COVID twist will work: Athletes will be spread out on the field, at least 6 feet apart (the best we can). Coaches and volunteers will be the only ones picking up the ball while wearing gloves. The athletes will be encouraged to keep hands in pockets or by their sides. We know this will be new to everyone and at first, it will be difficult to get used to.
Coaches and volunteers will go through COVID training before the games begin. Everyone will wear a mask including athletes, if able.
Each athlete’s family and each volunteer will be asked each week if they have been sick, traveled, and/or if they have been around anyone diagnosed with COVID-19. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival.
There will be 2-time slots available each Sunday. The games will look more like skills and drills with lots of laughter and fun. Not to mention lots of goals!
How many athletes per time slot? There will be 6 athletes, 2 coaches, 3 volunteers.

What this program is about: Learn how to use your AmTryke, experience the freedom of riding your own bike, and – most importantly – have FUN alongside the most experienced and qualified adaptive cycling staff in the region.
Parent/Caregiver: Must come to each practice and participate alongside athletes and volunteers. Responsible for transfers of athletes with minimal to no assistance. We will assist with transfers if necessary.
Equipment: It’s great if you own your cycle for this program. If you need assistance transporting the cycle to Deep Run, please let me know and I can arrange to pick it up with our Sportable van. If you don’t own a cycle yet we do have a few stock models (see flyer for bike model) that I can bring for you to ride. You must contact me ASAP if you don’t own a cycle but want to enroll in this program. I’ll make sure we’ve got a bike for you! We will also offer storage at Deep Run for the duration of the program if you would like to leave your cycle there as well.
Please register if you’re able to attend any or all of the practices! If you need assistance transporting your cycle, let me know as soon as possible and I’ll arrange a pick-up date with you for next Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
