Have your child decorate a variety of paper cut out leaves- on the opposite side, write or draw an exercise or activity to complete. Make a paper tree on the wall or draw one on the white board. Have the child “toss” the leaves in the air and then pick one up at a time, completing the exercise/activity written on the back of the leaf, then place the leaf on the tree.
The child will have to use a variety of movements to get the leaves, complete the exercise, and then put the leaf on the tree. You could even put a step or stepladder in front of the tree to practice stepping up and down.
