Here are a few examples of our students in the community at local businesses.
-Northstar Career Academy students in the Veterinary Assisting track work at the Richmond SPCA and have learned to clean and straighten the cat cotillions. The students have a “supervisor” who is totally FELINE the fresh, clean cotillion.
-At Walgreens, The Materials Handling class works on-site multiple days a week, so they learn how to work together as a team to manage store inventory. We are so grateful for our business partners for giving our students this amazing opportunity.
-Not only does Noodles & Company. host our students as they learn to work, thanks to their smart businesses practices, people living with disabilities are seamlessly accommodated as they are hired and on-boarded as new employees. We appreciate your continued partnership.
