2018 Richmond History Maker; JP JumPers Foundation Founder, Pam Mines is an Honoree!!

February 27, 2018 By Carissa Garabedian

JP JumPers Foundation  Founder is a Richmond History Maker

JP JumPers Foundation founder , Pam Mines, is humbled and honored to have been chosen as a 2018 Richmond History Maker in the “Encouraging Regional Collaboration” category. Her initiation of “JP’s Law”, inclusion in the Special Needs Community and overall advocacy is what makes her a 2018 Richmond History Maker. The Valentine posts the following:

“Pam Mines is a philanthropist and the president/founder of the JP JumPers Foundation. The foundation’s vision is to “JumP In” to positively impact the special needs community. Her diligent and proactive efforts to pass “JPs Law” (inspired by her son JP) impacted not only those with autism and intellectual disabilities but also their families, law enforcement and the wider community. Her passion and determination has inspired many to become involved in her effort to remove the stigma from those with special needs.”

We’d be honored if you would join us on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 4:00p-6:30pm at Virginia Union University, Claude G. Perkins Living and Learning Center (1813-1899 Bath Street, Richmond VA 23220), as we celebrate Pam, and the other honorees for their remarkable work in the community as a 2018 Richmond History Maker.
