November is here. I have already seen Christmas decorations and heard holiday music. My goal for you all and for me is to stay in the moment. Celebrate the Holiday that comes first and requires so much less effort- Thanksgiving. Truly, try to be thankful, stay present and enjoy the moments. Our Pinterest Board has lots to help you plan for Thanksgiving.
Homecoming was a great success at our home last month. I have an article below sharing all about it, News 12 even shared it. It is SO great to be able to spread good news!
Halloween happened and I had a moment where I smiled and “found” that a Special Needs Child can teach the others the fun in life, it is NEVER too cool and you are never too old to dress up and have fun! Our guy decided he wanted to join the fun, we threw together some stuff and he had a great time. He smiled, said trick or treat and always said Thank You. So much more than many that came to my door. Just a simple observation. Check out our hippy!
Today marks our middle daughter, Sophia’s 17th birthday. It is her Senior year and I am so incredibly proud of the young woman she is becoming. I have written her a note below, it will hopefully be something you can share with more siblings who have a special needs connection.
