Recognizing Children’s Gifts (RCG), Behavioral Health Network recognizes that there is a need for assisting individuals with certain levels of development delays, differences in development and/or a diagnosed condition which are not similar to an individual his or her age. The person may be experiencing delays in development in the home setting, community, school and/or daycare settings due to problems with adaptive functioning and communication skills. We provide each client with an individualized structured plan that will provide the pathway to enhancing their development through the use of ABA techniques.
RCG’s School Preparatory Program is geared to prepare children between the ages of 2-6 diagnosed with Autism the opportunity to be in an enriched learning environment that promotes development of communication, school readiness, independence and social skills.
The program is designed to promote success across many natural environments including but not limited to home, school and the community.
RCG’s goal is to develop and build foundation skills needed to ensure success in a classroom type setting by providing structured opportunities to gain exposure to a variety of learning opportunities that will promote mastery and generalization of important functional skills.
Their goal for parents and guardians is to provide access to information and opportunities for ongoing family training and networking related to evidence based practices, generalizing skills across environments and community resources.
