New Program for Kids ages 11-18 Through Jacob’s Chance

River City Buddy Ball Fitness at VCU is Jacob’s Chance’s newest program. RCBB Fitness at VCU promotes fitness through sports, health and wellness education, and social interaction for young teens with intellectual and physical challenges. The program is for teens 11-18 years old.
Participation in this program is available for the entire 2017 year, offering a variety of athletics, education, and social fun. Registration for this program does not commit you to every event, but allows you the option to be a part of those that work for your family – although we hope you come to all!
The first sport held in the 2017 year will be INDOOR SOCCER led by Coach Matt Scott, VCU Exercise Science Professor and formerly a player on the VCU Men’s Soccer Team. DETAILS for indoor soccer as follows:

Who: teens aged 11-18 years

When: Every Sunday starting January 15th- March 19th 2017 (10 total weeks)

Time: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Where: Virginia Commonwealth University
 Cary Street Gym
 101 S. Linden Street
*Note: Free street parking on Cary Street and side streets as well as additional parking in Cary Street parking deck at a cost.

Information regarding upcoming athletics, programs, and social events for RCBB Fitness will be provided to families as dates approach. We will take the first 30 families that respond to katejnr@gmail.com. You will receive an e-mail notifying you of the next step in the registration process.
