Casino Night will be Saturday January 30th, 2016 at Maggiano’s in short pump. It is a fun filled night of gaming, pasta, fun drinks and RAISING MONEY for our club and for The Miracle League of Richmond. The night involves various raffles, silent auction items and buy-in raffle games to get people in the donation spirit. Here is a link to pictures from last year.
How do I buy tickets and how do I tell my friends and family to buy tickets?
Tickets are $60 a person, $100 a couple.
https://www.facebook.com/events/193958937605048/ . If you are on facebook – please invite your friends to join us!
This event includes a link to Eventbrite whereby you and your friends can buy tickets online. If you would like to go straight to Eventbrite – here is the page.
If people would like to avoid paying online – as detailed on the facebook page and the Eventbrite – mail a check with their names and email address (so we may send a confirmation back) to our PO Box.
Sponsors. If you are interested in helping/know someone that would be interested in being a sponsor – please reach out to me. We have about half the table spots filled.
Horses. One of the fun games during the night are our horse races. The 24 horses in the races can be named – and then listed in the “Kiwanis Downs” sheet as well as the traditional program. It is $100 to name a horse. This is great for businesses, individuals that want to make a donation or even for friends that can’t come to the event but want to make a difference! I would really like to push this and sell ALL TWENTY-FOUR horses!
Raffle/Silent Auction Items. Mallory and I have done a lot canvasing of online donations (and grants) – we are looking for folks that will pound the pavement locally in search of additional items. The more items we have – the more we make. I promise it is super easy. People are very nice – you just go up to customer service, say my name is ____, I am with Kiwanis Club of Midlothian-Chesterfield – tell them we are seeking auction items to raise money for kids – give them the attached letter and 501c3 information if they request it – and voila! If you are interested in helping (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE) – contact Miracle League !
