Spring is in full swing at River City Inclusive Gymnastics. Over the past week we have had two outstanding field trips. Both trips left both the athletes and coaches exhausted. At the end of March, RCIG welcomed Northstar Academy’s Lower School. The athletes from Northstar tired themselves out on a variety of activities including trampoline, ninja rings, rock wall, and the pit. And even though the first week of April brought Spring Break for many kids, the gym was still open and we were excited to have RAIN (Richmond Autism Integration Network) stop in. The athletes from RAIN challenged and pushed themselves just as hard as the Northstar Academy group. The crowd pleaser this day was of course the trampoline. I heard the most hoots and hollers from folks jumping on the trampoline. The coaches had a blast hosting everyone and really enjoyed seeing all the athletes try new things that they may have been unsure of.
If your school or group would like to come to River City Inclusive Gymnastics for a field trip, just call the gym at (804) 784-1990 and we can set it up.
