iCanBike Camp NEEDS Volunteers & Has Camp Openings Too

June 28, 2017 By Carissa Garabedian

Please Read and share this with all of your friends. This is a great camp but they really need volunteers to help pull it off.

My name is Abby, I am the camp coordinator for iCan Bike Camp in Richmond, VA.

iCan Shine is a nonprofit organization that teaches individuals with disabilities to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle through its iCan Bike program. Over the past 10 years iCan Bike has hosted over 350 riders in the Richmond area, of those 350 riders 80% have been successful in learning to ride a bike on their own in one week! This would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers. Volunteering at bike camp is a very special and rewarding experience.

This year bike camp will be held 8/14-8/18 at the University of Richmond. We currently have Rider openings available and Volunteers are NEEDED! Please feel free to post our Flyer on your bulletin board, share on Facebook, or spread the word to any Volunteer groups you may know.

Scholarships are available for riders , the cost of the program is $150.00

If you have any questions please let me know.
We are looking forward to bike camp 2017!

Thank you,
Abby
