Join over 300 general and special educators, parents and other professionals from Central Virginia and beyond to discover how to better educate students with disabilities. This full-day conference, hosted by the Down syndrome Association of Greater Richmond (DSAGR),
will kick off with breakfast during the keynote address presented by Inclusion Specialist, Dr. Christi Kasa. Additional conference information is available at www.dsagr.org.

DSAGR is proud to honor education professionals who are currently working in regular education and/or special education settings in public or private schools in Central Virginia and exemplify the dedication of an educational professional and advocate for the
educational and social success of a student(s) with an intellectual disability. Each winner will receive a free conference registration and $100 to use in their classroom. They will also be honored during lunch at the Conference. Nomination deadline is January 15, 2017.

Christi Kasa, Ph.D
Christi Kasa, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and Department Chair for the Department of Special Education in the College of Education at the University of Colorado. Her teaching, research, and consulting are guided by her passion to create successful inclusive schools for all students. Christi began her career teaching in the public schools of California as a general education teacher, special education teacher, and an inclusion facilitator.
