I wanted to take a minute to wish you all a Happy Holiday!. It’s Christmas Eve and Hanukkah, it is nice to have the holidays starting on the same day, it brings me a feeling of a little more togetherness.
This past week has had it’s moments of stress at home. Changes in routine are tough. Our son usually adapts, not so much this week. I realized mid week, he was picking up on my energy. my stress and my tension. I was losing the focus of enjoying the little things and scurrying to get too much done. When I changed my direction, he also calmed down. It was a lesson for me, but also a reminder of what we should try to do. In this season of commercial craziness, rushing and spending; let’s try to enjoy these next few days.
Take the time to do nothing, watch a movie, bake, sit on the couch and have a cup of tea. Whatever it is that makes you happy, do it.
You deserve it.
Here’s to another year together, another chance to share our stories and get one step closer to embracing that we are KNOWDifferent.
From My Family To Yours,
Wishes For a Peaceful Holiday
XO
