for Children, Youth, and Young Adults with ASD

September 9

Developing community and friendships can be difficult for individuals with ASD. Learn how to support your child in the process, beginning with the important introduction to identifying ways to build on your child’s interests. Through story sharing and the experience of the presenters, participants will learn strategies to promote community for their child with ASD from early childhood through early adulthood. The target audience for this presentation is parents, care givers, educators, and providers.

Our Program Director, Bradford Hulcher and Tammy Burns, our Outreach Coordinator, will share their family’s stories and personal experiences in successfully building community for their sons with autism.
