Robin McCallister, an ASHA certified speech/language pathologist and social cognitive specialist joined forces with Tracy Scott, an ABA specialist to form Autastic Avenues in 2013. Together, Robin and Tracy have 50 years of experience working with children with special needs participate more efficiently in their life opportunities.
At Autastic Avenues we offer social thinking skills groups, speech/language therapy, executive function skills coaching, tutoring, telepractice or online therapy, parent support groups, and consultation services. Our services are for children of all ages with ASD, ADHD, general social skill challenges, and speech/language disorders. We also have a couple of unique members of our therapy team – Mouse, a 150 lb. certified therapy dog and Crash, everyone’s favorite ferret.
We use space at the Velocity Church building located at 3300 Church Rd. Richmond, Va. and at First Presbyterian Church on West Cary St. in Richmond. We also make home visits and provide in-home therapy.
Summer Camps are in the planning stages for 2015!
